Privacy
SebIQ has not launched. This site collects what you enter into the interest form, and — only if you agree — anonymous analytics about which pages people read.

Who we are
SebIQ is a financial planning product for founders. It is in development and not yet available to use.
SebIQ is operated by Apollo Strategy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17188831. Apollo Strategy Ltd decides what personal data is collected here and why, so Apollo Strategy Ltd is the data controller. Our registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@sebiq.com.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration reference ZC224207.
This notice covers this website only. It does not describe the SebIQ product, because the product is not yet available. Before the product launches we will publish a separate notice covering it.
What we collect
If you register interest, the form collects your first name, last name and email address, which are required, and — only if you choose to provide them — your company, which part of SebIQ interests you, and a short message. That is the complete list. We do not ask for financial data, and you should not send any through this form.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics collects information about your visit — pages viewed, and a small number of interactions described under Analytics below. If you do not accept, Google Analytics is not loaded and collects nothing.
Serving you a web page always involves some technical processing, whatever you choose. Delivering this site means handling your device's IP address and the details of each request — that is how any website reaches you, and it is described under Who we share it with.
We do not collect special category data, and we do not make any automated decisions about you or profile you.
Why we use it, and our lawful bases
Handling your registration and telling you when SebIQ launches: legitimate interests. You asked to hear from us about a product we are building, and keeping and using your details to do exactly that is what you would reasonably expect. You can object at any time by emailing us.
Sending you optional SebIQ product news and updates: consent. That is the separate, unticked box on the form, and you can withdraw it whenever you like.
Google Analytics: consent. Nothing is measured unless you accept, and you can change your mind at any time.
Delivering and protecting the site: legitimate interests. A website cannot be served, secured or kept available without handling the details of each request.
We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website, provides its DNS and its HTTPS encryption, and protects it from abuse. Every request to this site passes through Cloudflare, so it necessarily handles your IP address and request details. It does this on our instructions, as our processor.
Brevo is the email and contact platform that holds our pre-launch interest list, and receives your details only if you register interest. Your submission is sent from this site to our own server, which forwards it to Brevo. Brevo processes this data on our instructions only, as our processor. Our credentials for Brevo are held server-side only and are never present in this website.
Brevo documents that the servers on which it hosts and stores its databases are located in the European Union — OVH in France and Germany, and Google Cloud in Belgium. On that basis, the storage of your registration details takes place inside the EEA, which the UK recognises as providing an adequate level of protection, so no additional transfer safeguard is needed for it. Brevo acts under a data processing agreement incorporated into its terms of service, which we have accepted, and it may use its own sub-processors to operate its service under that agreement.
If that connection is not working, the form tells you plainly that it could not record your details and asks you to email us instead. It never reports a success that did not happen.
Google is involved in one way only, and only if you accept analytics. This site's typefaces are served from this site itself, so loading a page does not contact Google at all.
Analytics, only if you accept: Google Analytics runs only with your consent, as described below. Google processes analytics data on our behalf under its own data protection terms, which include the standard contractual clauses where those apply. Some of that processing takes place outside the UK and the EEA, including in the United States — Google LLC participates in the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and Google's contractual terms provide the applicable safeguards for those transfers.
Beyond these, nobody receives your data for their own purposes, and we use no other analytics, advertising or tracking services.
Registering interest is not the same as opting into updates
Registering interest adds you to our pre-launch interest list so we can tell you when SebIQ launches. That is all it does.
The form also has a separate, optional and unticked box for occasional SebIQ product news and updates. Ticking it adds you to a second, distinct list. Leaving it unticked means exactly that — no product-news list — and registering interest again later without ticking it does not remove you from a list you joined before. To come off that list, use the unsubscribe link in any update we send, or email us.
Analytics
With your consent, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and whether the site is doing its job. It records page views and a small number of interactions: when someone clicks a Register my interest button, whether a registration succeeded or failed, which part of SebIQ was selected, and whether the optional updates box was ticked.
We never send Google your name, email address, company or the message you write. Nothing you type into the form is sent to analytics.
Nothing is measured until you choose. Before you answer, analytics storage is switched off using Google's Consent Mode, and the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all — so if you decline, or simply never answer, no analytics request is ever made and your browser does not contact Google at all.
We do not use Google Analytics for advertising: the advertising-related settings are switched off permanently and are never turned on by any choice you make here.
You can change your mind at any time.
Cookies and storage
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets its own cookies in your browser to recognise a returning visit.
This site itself stores one thing, in your browser's local storage: your answer to the analytics question, so we do not ask again on every page. It holds the word granted or denied and nothing that identifies you. If you decline, that is all that is stored.
There are no advertising cookies and no tracking of you across other websites.
How long we keep it
We keep your registration details for the pre-launch period. After SebIQ launches we review them, and we delete inactive pre-launch registrations no later than 24 months after launch — unless you are still actively engaged with SebIQ, or we have another valid reason to keep them.
You can ask us to delete your details sooner, and we will.
If you also opted into product news, that is a separate subscription and it is not ended by the registration review above. It continues until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
We retain Google Analytics event data for 14 months.
Keeping it secure
This site is served over HTTPS, and any plain http request is redirected to it, so pages and form submissions are encrypted in transit. Your submission is sent to our own server, which holds the credentials for Brevo; those credentials are never sent to your browser. Access to the interest list is limited to people who need it.
No service is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. We ask you not to send financial or sensitive information through this form — there is no reason to, and we do not want it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data. Depending on the circumstances, and on the lawful basis we rely on, your rights may include the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time — withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
Not every right applies in every situation, and some have conditions or exceptions in the legislation. If we cannot do what you ask, we will tell you why.
To exercise any of these, email hello@sebiq.com. We aim to respond within one month. Where a request is complex, or you have made several, the law allows us a further two months — if that applies we will tell you within the first month, and explain why.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put things right.
Your choices
You can accept or reject analytics, and change that decision whenever you like, using the control above or the Analytics preferences link in the footer.
Changes
SebIQ is still being built. If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of this page, and we will tell registered people directly if the change is significant.
